There is nothing new to say about Maxine Waters

After serving a decade in the California State Assembly and then as a United States Congresswoman for three shifting districts since 1991, what you see is what we got.

And what does that consist of? Appearing on national television to call white constituents “devils”?

Being called to resign her office due to ‘connections’ with Louis Farrakhan who has routinely vilified the country whose constitution she swore an oath to ‘support and defend’?  Receiving a ‘kiss’ and public praise from Farrakhan during a speech in which he supported ‘suicide bombers’ from Palestine?

Presiding over declining inner city neighborhoods while ‘lifting herself up by the taxpayers’ bootstraps’ all the way into a mansion in exclusive Hancock Park? And from her perch in her mansion, what has she ‘excluded’? Inner city schools which never seem to improve no matter how much money she throws into the pockets of ‘teachers unions’ Denigrating all United States Presidents in the past 30 years except for the two worst ‘presidents’ to have disgraced the office? Suspension from the House of Representatives for “unruly and turbulent” behavior (July 29, 1994) due to contention over ‘banking’ laws?

Then later helping OneUnited Bank receive twelve million dollars ($12,000,000.00) in ‘federal aid’ when her husband was a stockholder and former director and whose executives were ‘major contributors to her political campaigns’? For ‘supporting and defending’ black residents who looted Korean-American owned stores during Los Angeles riots? For clearing the way for her relatives to ‘earn’ more than one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) by ‘doing business’ with ‘companies, candidates and causes’ that she had ‘helped’?

By being named four times to the ‘Corrupt Members of Congress’ list by the ‘Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics’ in Washington? By earning the coveted Citizens Against Government Waste title ‘Porker of the Month’ in June 2009 for her intention to obtain ‘earmark’ funding for her Maxine Waters Employment Preparation Center? For ‘labeling’ George H. W. Bush a ‘racist who has polarized the races in this country’ to ‘advance his policies’?

For co-sponsoring a House Resolution to impeach Vice President Dick Chaney? For criticizing patriotic American Tea Party members by saying, “As far as I’m concerned, the ‘tea party’ can go straight to hell!  And I intend to help them get there!” How? Is she going to show them the way or lead them there herself? According to one Washington observer, “Rep. Waters has passed just three bills in her 27 years in Congress.  That means on average, Waters produces something noteworthy for constituents every 9 years. One of the bills was renaming a Post Office. Impressive stuff.” Waters has been calling for the ‘impeachment’ of Donald Trump almost before he took office. Waters has called Trump “a bully, an egotistical maniac, a liar and someone who did not need to be President” and “the most deplorable person I’ve ever met in my life”.

In a 2017 appearance on MSNBC‘s All In with Chris Hayes, Waters said President Donald Trump‘s advisors “who have ties to Russia or have oil and gas interests there are a bunch of scumbags” without offering any proof whatsoever for her accusations. In February 2017, Waters said that Trump was “leading himself” to possible impeachment because of his conflicts of interests and that he was creating “chaos and division” without bothering to specify what ‘conflicts of interest’ or which ‘chaos and division’.

In September 2017, while giving a eulogy at Dick Gregory‘s funeral, she said that she was “cleaning out the White House” and that “when I get through with Donald Trump, he’s going to wish he had been impeached.”  Is this her way of ‘supporting and defending’ the Constitution of the United States? In October 2017, she said the U.S. Congress had enough evidence against Trump to ‘be moving on impeachment’, in reference to Russian collusion allegations during the 2016 Presidential election, and that Trump “has openly obstructed justice in front of our face.”  Okay, so where is that ‘evidence’ after more than a year of ‘investigations’?

Waters texted an allegation on Twitter regarding the ‘Trump White House’: “Trump has made it clear—it is now the White Supremacists‘ House”, in an attempt to link President Trump to the violence that erupted at a white nationalist protest rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, on August 12, 2017.  Does this mean that Americans can now ‘link’ Waters to crimes committed by ‘black people’?

Following President Trump’s 2018 State of the Union address Waters released a video response wherein she addressed what most of the members of the Congressional Black Caucus see as the racist viewpoint and actions of Trump saying, “He claims that he’s bringing people together but make no mistake, he is a dangerous, unprincipled, divisive, and shameful racist.”  Is Waters, then, a ‘racist’ as well for inciting ‘black people’ to violence with this very statement?

And according to Red Alert Politics, while she has been busy making money for her friends and allies, her family has accrued more than a million dollars from various political connections she has provided them. Furthermore, the group, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, has given Rep. Waters the “most corrupt member of congress” award four separate times.

Waters’ shady financial dealings should alarm everyone in the country.

Maxine Waters and her democrats have produced nothing that shows President Trump should be impeached, but their financial kickbacks to family and friends – along with their many abuses of women and subordinates – show great reason why she – and they – should be removed from any ability to abuse the public trust. Deneen Borelli has recently called Maxine Waters a “hypocritic (who) openly embrace(s) racist and anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan but make(s) wild claims against President Trump on race and white supremacy” (FaceBook, March 12, 2018).

So, please ask yourself, aside from rhetorical posturing, what has she done for you in nearly 40 years of holding public offices as opposed to what she has done for herself?
